This solid multi-purpose vehicle was born in 1938 on the banks of the River Thames, at the already well-established Dagenham factory. It was conceived as a van or a light commercial vehicle with a distinctive design, made to be both practical and affordable, as well as able to carry a load of about 500 kg.

The engine was located next to and slightly to the right of the driver’s seat, thus maximizing the cargo area. It featured a small yet robust 1175 cc and 30 CV 4-cylinder engine, designed to last forever, not to reach high speeds, as it did not go much beyond 60 km/h.

It has a charming appearance for a transport vehicle. It is compact, sturdy, and sober, with a very attractive grill, slim and beautiful. Its round mudguards and prominent headlights complete its appealing yet functional aspect, quite unique for a cargo vehicle.

It was seen at several motor sport events, such as for instance as the assistance and support vehicle for the Cooper Car Company racing team at the end of the 1950s.
