“In just five years, the Giulietta and its mechanics stole the hearts of almost 20000 Romeos”, Ignacio Sainz de Cámara (AUTOMÓVIL Magazine). When you read words like these, I can’t help thinking about all the little pleasures that this little spyder brought to all its lucky owners.
This model was introduced in the stands of Alfa Romeo and Pininfarina in the 1956 edition of the Automobile Convention in Torino. The company managers were convinced by importer Max Edwin Hoffman to build a model with such features.
It was very succesfull and was the beginning of a two-seats spyders saga that still is present on the italian company catalogue.
With the Giuletta Spyder, a large part of the “Alfa” driver legend (quick and smart), was written.
